Hmm, let's see if I can read between the lines on this ad.

all for sale may consider trades ready to drive rare...
Not too many people wanted to buy these, so they didn't produce many

...1984 chevy s10 mirage camper v6 automatic with overdrive - ready to go - runs and drives -...
Doesn't run or drive great, or even good, however it will start and go down the road

...fresh tune up - oil change - rear brakes , drums , wheel cyl. , - vavle cover gaskets replaced - carb. rebuilt -...
I have poured big bucks into this money pit, and now it is someone else's turn

... great tires -...
At least I can say that the tires should go a long way, not so sure about the rest

...v6 automatic -$3000.00

Am I a pessimist, or a realist?
That said, it could be a fun rig!

I don't know anything about it Mike. I just figured that as bullet proof that older S-10s are that even if it was broke down, how hard could it be to fix? Every body panel is offered by aftermarket suppliers. Example: Hood $35.00, Fender-$41.00 etc. The 2.8 v-6 motors were good durable motors and the 4.3 v-6 motors were exceptional. I really don't see much of a project here, even if it has problems.

Somebody should hurry up and buy that and be ready for spring. Like Mark says, it shouldn't be much of a project.

Maybe it is simply a Mirage?

I love it, I love S10's, and it is in Ohio. My guess is it may have rust but S10's are everywhere and parts are easy to come by. I would consider this but I really want a Scamp 5th wheel and I'm hoping I can get one by summer along with a 4 door small truck to pull it, not a Chevy Colorado. Just dreaming now.
