That's a steal!

And it looks like a front dinette model, too, if that's the corner of a table I see to the right in the "kitchen" shot.

I'd caution anyone looking, though, to examine the frame most carefully, especially in the tongue area.

Unless I'm mistaken, that looks like an old weight-distributing hitch setup lying on the tongue, with accompanying marks where it was probably attached. Could be stress cracks there!

Yes, I was thinking what an amazing deal till I got to the last picture. As you say Francesca just need to check frame etc well and even if it needs work still a great price.
What's going on with the belly band and did they come with the small dinette or is that a mod?

Now that I actually looked at the ad...

It IS a front-dinette! I wonder if Rodre ever found one...

Yes, that is the much sought after front dinette. If you are in the area, run, don't walk, and go buy this! You could sell it tomorrow for twice that!
I'd say that they used some kind of tape to water proof the belly band.
It doesn’t say the year, but I would guess a 79, based on the placement of the converter.
The rear table looks like it is missing a leaf.
Funny how the door window doesn’t open.
What is that on the center post of the front window?
They say that there are two awnings. One is an add a room, and the other must be the one in the pictures. I will buy either off the person who buys this.
Why is this so far away? At that price, if it were next door, I would defy my wife and buy it. But then, she would probably tell me to RUN out and buy it!

I know you are joking, but how far is the drive for you Fancesca?
It's 19.5 hrs for me, if I leave now, I could be there by.... way too late!
BTW, that deal even rivels the deal you got on your Trillium.

David, you state you think this may be a 79 based on the location of the converter. Where do you see the converter in these pictures?

Also, in the write up, it says there table extender is available.

I believe your question, 'What is that on the center post of the front window ?' refers to a electrical plug-in.

The converter is not visible in the pictures. It's location is implied by the offset in the drawers in the kitchen. They do that to make room for the converter in the side of the kitchen, facing the rear dinette.
If that is an electrical plug in the middle of the window, it is a strange place to put it. If I were adding a plug to the front dinette, I would duplicate the plug location of the rear dinette.

Sorry, I mistook you question regarding the front window post. I went back and looked at the pictures again and see the one you are referring to. And don't know what it might be.

This camper could be the identical twin to mine, except a PO removed the shelving above the small dinnete in mine.

It's about ten hours nonstop...maybe less if I take my turbocharged 4 cyl. Kia!

But I have the Grandkids coming over tomorrow for the whole weekend.

Let's see: one three year old equals a potty stop every hour plus every McDonald's play place along the way...must stop for WiFi connections for the twelve year old...the seven year old is pretty undemanding unless we pass a ToysRus...

I think I could make it in about three days.

Shall I send my brother to get it? He's only 3 hours away. I'm sure, for a price, he would fetch it. I think he might even have a trailer to pick it up with, if necessary.

If that's a serious offer, Laura, I'd pay your brother bonus money to do so. This is the first time I've ever been serious about wanting a second trailer for the family....even if the hitch needs welding, I think this is a bargain!

P.M./e-mail me if the Bro's on board with the idea.

Unfortunately, that turns a great deal into merely a good deal. The road trip, though expensive, gas wise, it still counts as a road trip, and is therefore self justifying, (especially in the poop fly).
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ons-53645.html

And likely in the the $1000 range with my current TV. I may be underestimating a bit. But paying someone an additional $1000 to pick it up, reduces this to a $4300 trailer. If I ever find one, This what I would expect to pay for one locally. As a rule, I don't buy any trailer that I can't sell for at least $1000 more then I buy it for. I broke that rule on the Cantaloupe, but I was looking for something I would not be afraid of messing up on. Kinda like a cadaver. Ya, I can really rationalize.

You Go Girl !!!!!!!!!!!!

I think of these as a picnic table on wheels I could feed my whole family in this trailer. I want one so bad, I can taste it, but to get it past my wife at this point, It would have to be next door.
Please don't get me wrong. She is clearly correct in saying that I have enough trailers. But, if it were next door, she would be pushing me out the door to buy it.

LOL, you guys are awesome. I had a bunch of questions regarding this trailer but thought you all (you know who are) jump in. Questions answered Wish I was closer, this is one I'd justify putting on credit if it was local.

I'm just trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. I've been checking searchtempest.com for trillium, but this doesn't pop up. Any hints? Are there other ways to see what is posted on CL?
