I spotted this one this morning. I think that it's a great candidate for a full restoration. The interior needs a complete gutting, new appliances, new cushions and all, but the shell is sound, no cracks. The frame looks good, but needs a wire-brushing and painting. The floor felt solid, no mushiness at all. So it may not need the full frame-off treatment. The windows work, but the hardware needs a good cleaning and lubricating.

If I was looking for another project I'd seriously consider this one. In the right hands this could become a real beaut! Note that the seller's phone number is shown in the first photo.

And a view of the back...I've always admired the louvered windows on Trilliums.

Hi Vic,

Evidently, the actual owner has no title for it. The "sales lot" guy representlng the seller sez getting proper registration is no problem, but here in Oregon it's a big hassle. I had to pass...

I'm sorry to hear that. I know from going through the process with a couple of motorcycles without paperwork that the Calif DMV is fairly simple. All you need to do is show a bill of sale, fill out a statement of origin form and pay your fees. I hope that someone gives this poor neglected Trill a home! She could be a real beaut.
