13' Scamp brakes

I'm about to pick up a 13' 2005 Scamp I bought in another state that comes without electric brakes. Does anyone know if the wheel hubs are configured from the factory so I can have electric brakes installed locally when I get it home? Thanks.

Look at the spindle. If it has a 4 bolt flange at the base[it probably does] then it can easily be retrofitted No flange no brakes.

I now have electric brakes, controller and Curt class III hitch designed for my Honda Element. I'm broke but sleep well knowing I won't have to use the truck runoffs on those steep downhill mountain grades. Tows like a dream and brakes even better. Now, where do I put my Honda 2000i generator?

How about building a rack above the battery? also buy a cover that does NOT say Honda on it.
if you enclose the generator be sure to vent it well to prevent fumes from ruining the labels and finish.

I have heard of some people who have used an Optima deep cycle battery , and moved it inside under the bench with good success. I have no personal experience though. If that were an option it could simply free up the battery spot for the generator!
