17 ft burro axle

I am thinking about buying a 1985 17ft burro. the trailer is in great shape but it has a bent axle. What can you tell me about replacement axle for the burro?

I believe Burro used the same Torsion type axle as Scamp and Casita.

Robert, I bought the axle for my Scamp at Potter Webster... near Jubitz. Nice, helpful people. It's a Dexter EZ-Lube.

And yes, $1300 would be a great price for a 17' Burro in good to great shape!

Lucky, yes. I paid almost 3x that for mine, same year and size.

And my axle is simply underrated--at 1500 while it has 1700 on it almost empty. So I will probably replace that next spring.

Keep us up to date on your progress if you get it. I'd be looking forward to pictures for some comparison . . . .
