1978 boler 1700 trailer clearance

I was noticing on my last outing that my Boler sits low to the ground as compared to other campers? The leaf springs are in good condition. Has anyone flipped the axle to gain more clearance? If you have and or heard of it being done; does it affect the stability of towing the trailer.

Hi the 17 ft came that way My 17ft has the axles flipped It tracks great behind my 4x4 chev truck
