OK I will be doing an
axle change on my 2000
Scamp deluxe, tire wear on both sides on the inside.
Have been talking to David Switalski at Dexter
axle good person to deal with.
So looking at the
Scamp the old
axle is a weld on with 5 welds, 2 on both sides front and rear on the brackets and an "L" bracket in the middle welded to the frame. Is this the way other Scamps are set up with the middle "L" braket weld on , I thought that you never welded on the axle tube. We will go with the standard set up axle, but am thinking about bolt on instead of weld. So can you look under your trailer a let me know.
