Axle

How do you know when you are in need of replacing the axle, I have a 99 scamp and have been wondering if mine is in need of replacement? Can you look under the trailer and tell by just looking? Any information would be appreciated, thanks.

I think you can compare the angle of your trailing arms to the factory spec for your year/axle. If it's sagging significantly that's a sign of warn rubber in the axle.

But I am no expert. And that's just a somewhat educated guess.
