A. Older Scamp's (Scamp trailers made in the 70's and early 80's) with a 1" spindle use a L44643 bearing for both outer and inner bearing on each wheel.
Scamp trailers switched to a larger 1 1/16 spindle to accommodate larger load capacity. These use a L44649 bearing, both outer and inner bearing on each side.
Scamp trailers with axles carrying 2500 pounds or more use a L44649 outer bearing on each side and a L68149 inner bearing on each side.

At least that is what Scamp still says on the web site. I believe the model number of the
axle is a lot number unique to the special order that Scamp makes. SEE:
