Axle replacement in SF Bay area?

I have now discovered why my 79 burro 13 bounces around so much when being towed. From pictures of other torsion axels, I see that mine is shot. Where can I go to get it replaced in the SF Bay Area? How much should that cost?

I can't recall who I called, but I got very high quotes and long wait times for an appointment. Got it done in Albuquerque much cheaper and with a mere week wait.

The bay area is just so expensive for EVERYTHING. Perhaps out towards Sac, or the central valley would be cheaper, not sure if it would be worth the drive.

The Dexter web site has a dealer locator by zip code.

I went with a lady friend to take her Boler 13' to Orlandi trailer.
They measured it up and quoted $900 plus for a Dexter Torflex.
Later I went back to see how it was going after they said the axle was in.
Their guys were in the process of welding a cheap leaf spring axle on.
I told them to stop, pack it back up, and let me take it back home as it was.
(note that they scratched off the "Dexter Torflex" on the work order, but left the $400 torflex price where they should have put in the $90 leaf spring cheapie.. I did it myself because I'd wonder how many other corners would be cut. I recommend NOT going to Orlandi Trailer in San Jose.

BTW
can you see whether your axle is bolted onto the frame, or is it welded?
