I purchased 2 baby moon hubcaps from Redneck Trailer Supply locally for less than $20 including tax. Made in China. Tom Trostel

The baby moons from JC Whitney are 304 stainless and should last a lifetime without rusting

I know this is an old thread but I am wanting to purchase these baby moons. JC Whitney has 2 kinds for sale. Which ones are the 304 stainless?

The Coast to Coast brand; Product Number: 13902G
http://www.jcwhitney.com/baby-moon-h.../p2021572.jcwx

or the

Mr Gasket brand; Product Number: 40238G
http://www.jcwhitney.com/baby-moon-h.../p2031512.jcwx

Just from the picture the Mr Gasket brand looks better but it may just be the photograph.

Let's see, from the coast of China to the coast of U.S.A. Mr. Gasket has been around for a long time. You also know you can buy chrome hubcaps at the truckstop, don't you?

Jean-L,
Where did you find your white rims? I think you switched to a 5-bolt wheel when you changed your axle? If so, I'm having a tough time finding white 5 bolt trailer wheels so I can add these baby moons as well. I didn't think it would be a tough task!

(thanks for finding this old thread, julie! I've been looking at this as well)

Thanks!
Luke

FWIW, here's another option for stainless hubcaps, I'd seen reference to them on an Airstream forum
Vintage Hubcaps Wheel Covers, Classic Car or Kustom Wheelcovers at Hubcap Mike.com's Hub Caps Online Store
