Hey all, i went to look at a big foot 19 foot fifth wheel today and i think that the asking price is fairly reasonable. It is a 1986 19 footer with tandom axles. It seems in fairly good shape with only 1 issue i could see that would be a problem, besides some minor stuff. There is a bulge on the side with the door, after further inspection i noticed that the out side of the trailer is fastened to the cupboards to provide strutural strength and i looked like it was screwd from the indside of the frame of the cupboard into the out side of the fiberglass with wood screws. I don't know if this is how it was done from the factory or a do it your self fix that has let go. Has anyone come accross this type of problem and know how to fix it... Also it can be purchased for $5000 canadian would this be a resonalbe price everything else seems to check out ok, the fridge is cold and the cook top and oven don't even seem like the have been used and all the electrical works too.

Scarf it up, Jonathan. That's a heck of a buy.

I'm sure the wood screws are not from the factory. They may have originally been rivets or machine screws with nuts.
