Big truck Little Trailer

I will be towing my BF 5th wheel with my
4-door 1-ton dually. I was wandering if any
One else is doing this, and if they noticed any
Problems with a big truck & a little trailer?

With that softly sprung tow vehicle be sure you use a weight distributing hitch along with air bags.

I was thinking about taking halve the springs
Off and let most of the air out of the tires LOL

The only problem I see from this angle is the trailer looks nose high and I can't see how much bed side clearance you have at the rear. You want the bottom edge of the trailer to be level and the overhead to have enough bed clearance (6 or more inches).

Yes it is nose hi I'm debating on putting a bigger
Block between springs & axel or replacing the drop axel with a straight axel. It needs about
3" to bring it up level 

I'd go with the blocks, easy and inexpensive. If that doesn't work then you could go the more expensive route.

It already has 2" blocks now & I would have to add another
3"block. would 5" of blocks be stable? Sounds scary 

You are right - that is just too scary to think about!

If you are going to either raise the trailer or lower the truck, there has gotta be a better way than 5 inches of blocks!

It's not scary at all. The blocks have a protrusion on one side and a hole on the other side and they interlock together. The first lowrider truck I built had 2" and 3" blocks under it and I also removed the main leaf of the spring pack, no problems ever and I'm pretty sure I put more miles on that truck than you will be putting on your camper.

I noticed that the springs look flat would new springs lift the trailer or are they all flat ?
