You can, but for long distance highway towing, low and aerodynamic is better. No reason for bigger wheels/tires unless you have the dinky 8" wheels some older tent trailers used to have (which really give bearings a workout). My
Scamp with 13" wheels and "low rider" OEM suspension tows cool all day long at 65 mph in triple digit temperatures. I do check tire and hub temperature at every stop. Never a problem.
Now for backcountry use, that's another matter.
