boler 1300 axles

hello,
i have recently purchased my second Boler trailer project. It is a 13ft. This one i would like to put a new axle on, or perhaps add some spacers between the axle and the frame. There is still some bounce left in the torsion suspension, but the trailer is sitting really low.

Can someone tell me what size axle i should be looking for and where in or near Calgary, Ab. I might find one.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Here is a great resource: Fibreglass RV Parts, Repairs, and Service by Paul Neumeister give Paul a shout. You'll find shipping the correct axle to be cheaper than you expect.

Good luck!

Dexter #9 (2200 lb). Mine was very low. Torsion bar angled up. Now 10 degrees down. It was raised 2". Very good. I paid $600 Cdn installed with brakes. Chilliwack BC. Let me know if you need more info.

On my new frame I installed a FlexiRide 2000# axle.
Standens Springs in Calgary will build to your specifications and have it ready in less than a week.
The great thing about the FlexiRide is that the arms are adjustable so you can tailor the ride height to your liking.

Was that at Escape trailers? And 7"
Brakes? More info if you don't mind sharing.

Cheers

Brian.

Yes it was Escape Trailers. Yes it was 7" brakes. That is all that you can get on a #9 Dexter. I think it was $400 for the part and $200 installation. All in with taxes included.

Princess Auto stocks a variety of axles. There are two locations in Calgary.

Princess Auto does not usually stock a Torflex with the specs needed for a boler.
