Boler axle/frame work in Saskatoon

Hello,
I bought a 1976 Boler a month ago and it hase old leaf springs and worn out shocks. I am looking to have a new torsion axle installed and have some frame reinforcement done if needed. My question is, who does this type of work in Saskatoon. I had it sitting at a frame and alignment shop for 2 weeks and they haven't even touched it! I have been referred to Flaman trailers. Is this a good way to go, or is there a better alternative?

Im aware of Dexter and ordering axles, but where can I have one installed(welded on) and the frame reinforced? Every trailer shop I called said they don't do that type of work.

Do you have a local place that builds utility trailers? Generally they will do custom work as they have all they need to do fabrication work.

Maybe these guys?

I have a guy calling me back from Flaman in the morning. I hope that he can help. Does anyone have any experience with their axles?

Flaman doesn't make axles, so they would be installing a Dexter or other common brand, but they do make trailers (as well as selling trailers made by others) and between their various divisions seem to do a lot of fabrication work (at least in some locations).

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Flaman says they won't go near a Boler. Even with the frame reinforced they said its too much work. I may just hire a welder to weld on the axle and forget about trailer shops as a whole.

I know you are in Saskatchewan, but in Calgary Trillium / Outback does work on Bolers all the time. There are usually at least two on their floor. If you can tow it to Calgary, they will charge you more then you expect, but they do a good job.
Call Joe Thoen, the owner, at (403) two seven two - 3929.

Thanks for all the help. I'm taking it to Hanson RV in Warman in the morning. He (Kelly) knew all about the Boler, and has no problem with helping me out. I am just happy to have it out of the compound it has been sitting in and ready to get some stuff done on it!

I've decided to take the route I was originally going for, I'm ordering an axle from Paul Neumeister.
