My axle is pretty bagged but i am somewhat attached to it. An aquaintance though wants to replace his axle on his boler. Where do you get a tortion bar axle in Canada? I have no idea .

Thanks.

Colin

just go to Dexter axle and do a dealer search, look fior your province, there is guaranteed to be at least one dealer

The original supplier to Boler in Winfield B.C. (okay, Vanguard Trailers) in 1979 (when my B1700 was built) was Standen's, who is still very much in business, selling trailer axles built by them but with Dexter components. While Standen's is in Calgary, there are similar businesses all over the country which locally build axles with Dexter components; I guess they would likely show up in the Dexter distributors list.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Colin, B.C.s a pretty big place, do I recommend a place in Valemont OR Langley?

COAST Springs in Langley is THE place to go for that kind of work. I just had them redo the rear suspension on our '37Plymouth (shown in my avvy) and it works SUPER. They also do Torsion axles and ALL manner of "custom" jobs too!!!
