Hey Alan,

I was born in Kingston, but lived in Phoenicia which is about 10 miles from Woodstock, I think. Cool name, Deposit, with an interesting history. My dad was an eastern KY mountain man that was logging in NY. That was how he met my mom. She was a waitress at a coffee shop. He got a cup of coffee. I showed up about a year later!

Hi Darral,

GREAT to hear from you. You guys were a bad influence on Laura and I. We were going to wait a couple of years before getting an RV when we met in October. By mid November we owned our new to us Casita. In December, we bought a new to us tug. We are ready. We definitely hope to hit the LBL Rally in Oct '16.

Wendy, Laura and I are 53. We grew up in Indiana. I went to college in northern IN, so got to see some winters. Most of my adult life has been in TN, SC, FL, and KY. Milder winters. This winter has been mild. Fine with me. Looking forward to our first year of RVing!!!

Take care,

Dean

Great story as a guy that grew up in the 60's i most certainly know where you are from.... Wow Woodstock.... My wife and i were back in upstate NY and Connecticut this summer for a family reunion and my mothers 95th B day... Driving back to Binghamton N Y from Connecticut we had planned on stopping and going thru the Woodstock museum... However the weather was bad so we just pushed on thru
My wife is from VT ( where we lived for 10 yrs) before moving to Calif
Miss the seasons at times ... Out here we only have 2 ( fire and earthquake)
Lol

Alan,

LOL. Hmmm, Fire or Earthquake as your seasons. I think I will take the four seasons here in KY. I am tired of winter by the end of winter and tired of summer by the end of summer, but love Fall and Spring.
