Hi Paul,

OK, thanks. I am getting the impression that programming the BC to the point trailer brake lock up, then backing off is not always a possibility. I do think that I have the brake controller set too high. At this point, I am thinking I will experiment with lowering the power on the BC, but maintaining a boost of 1 and seeing how it "feels".

Take care,

Thanks for the suggestions, Roger. When I flew out and purchased the Silver Cloud in Oregon in January, I made sure that it would have new ST tires, bearings packed, and brakes checked prior to me picking it up. This has all been done and paid for! New spare, too. As to the valve stems, I will have to wait with that until I get it home, I guess. Hopefully there won't be any problems in that regard. I certainly don't intend to push it by going too fast. I've never towed anything that heavy or long before, so I'll be taking it easy.

Enjoy your spring in Iowa! I believe you're near Tipton, right? My wife grew up in Anamosa and we used to live in Wilton, so we know the area well.
