Camped for extended periods

If you leave your trailer parked in a campground for extended periods month or more is it best to block the axle or is it sufficient enough to just have the stab jacks down? Thanks!

well, in my experience, during which my longest stay anywhere was 8 weeks, we did not block the axle, simply utilized stabilizer jacks without any problems.
...not sure, textbook, whether that was correct or not, but it worked for us.

I block the axle every time I camp, front and back before unhooking from the tv. Good safety practice if you want to keep your rv.

I think you mean "chock" not "block". "Block" usually refers to raising the axle so the tires are off the ground and block used to keep them that way.

I wouldn't worry about it. I never block my trailer and sometimes it sits up to 3 months in it's nest. I do level and stabilize so that I can keep the fridge running. Other than that it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Why and how do you jack up a lightweight frame that in some cases can be 20-30 years old?
I see too many frame issues and having to carry too many extra jacks, your stabilizers are not jacks.
