My 1993 Casita has surge brakes similar to a boat trailer. It has a master cylinder just behind the hitch and two steel lines going to the brake cylinder at each wheel. Nothing is wrong with this trailer. I am curious how many other Casita's have this brake system.

I have seen one that was in a military rental fleet that had surge brakes. I expect that all of the military rental ones had them.. Kind of makes sense.
