So My mechanic ordered the correct axle and Dexter verified the error is on their end. It took them a little over a week to build the first one. This one will only take 2 days to build and 5 days total to arrive in AZ. They are just sending the correct axle and the mechanic here has to deinstall/reinstall hubs and brakes. Then send underrated axle back to Dexter. So we should be good to go for Moab. Thanks everyone for your input.

Good work! Wish you guy would have stopped before the install and questioned the part before install. Hope he isn't looking to you for additional R/R items to be paid.

This is a prime example of paying the extra few dollars to get the bolt on brackets with a new axle if your trailer does not have them already. R&R the tires, 4 bolts and 4 wire connections and the job would be done.

Just wondering if you ordered the initial axle with brakes? If so, Dexter should be sending you the replacement axle with brakes pre installed on the hubs.

Gina, I'm glad the axle issue is going to be taken care of. Happy you can still make Moab.
