Damaged Wheel Hub on my Scamp 16'

One of the wheel hubs on my Scamp 16 has a over sized lug bolt hole.
I'd like to order a new hub but am unsure of exactly what to order.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on what hub to order?

Thanks, Tom

You can find them on Ebay pretty cheap. I bought my replacements from etrailer. They ship quickly and are easy to deal with. It will be a 10" drum. If it has 5 lugs, it will be a 4 1/2 on 5 hub(meaning 5 lugs on a 4 1/2'' dia circle.). etrailer even has the instructions on how to measure the lugs. While your hubs are off, regrease the bearings and check the brakes.

Thanks for the reply Dennis, I'd looked up hubs on etrailer and the casting looked different from what is on my 98 16' Scamp. My hub castings are a circular pattern and the on line pictures on etrailer and ebay have a raised star pattern where the lug bolts come through the casting. Is the star pattern hub interchangeable with the style hub that I am trying to replace?

I have no direct experiencing replacing just a hub (only a whole axle with factory installed hubs), but my general mechanical intuition is that you'd need a matched pair even if just one is bent. Now the bolt pattern, fit of the alternate part I have no idea. I'd call Dexter. ETrailer might have a competent tech to ask too. But Dexter has always been helpful when I've called.

My Scamp is a 1998 16'

I'll give Dexter a call on Monday.

If I can't find the exact replacement, I'll order a pair that match.

Thanks for all the comments about my problem. I have a fair amount of mechanical skill but have never owned a camper of any type before.
The learning curve is pretty steep for me.

A 1998 would have a standard modern drum assembly which should be stocked at any local boat or trailer place.
Look at this unbelievable DEAL!...

All else being good you should consider replacing all the lug bolts with lug studs, you could then choose various ways to replace the defective one.
When done you would have the improvement of studs and nuts.
