Nice rig and great color. It looks like your getting it out to test the 4 wheel drive.

You better believe its a Hemi with the MDS so it shuts down 4 cyls when at low rpm but then the 390 hp is there when you want it. Pretty smooth ride compared to my old 1997 Jeep TJ that I just sold.

Towing

Just bought the same truck except a quad cab in red. Love driving the truck
and looking forward to seeing how it tows my Scamp this summer . Mileage is not great but if you stay in the ECO mode it's not bad . Hope it serves you well!

I bought mine in 2009 when they offered the "lifetime warranty"- Big Horn Edition- tows great, I put air bags on the coil springs and a cap and get 13 mpg- towing or not!!

I'm going to pickup a canopy on Monday for mine. Its funny our other TV is a 04 Subaru that barely has the towing capacity for the Boler and the trucks tongue weight is about 1000#s. Should do just fine.

Thanks all for the comments. I thought I would post an updated photo with the new canopy on the truck. Lots of storage now for those camping trips.

When I ordered my cap the dealer wanted to know if I had the "Hoover Dam" in the rear? He was referring to that fat lip that the cap rear has to cover on the truck as Hoover Dam

Finally was able to get to the Boler to see how it hooked up to the truck. I think I will get a 4" drop hitch now or maybe even a 2" seeing it hooked to the truck now and as the truck was sitting empty. Just to level out the trailer a bit more.

I did get some different rims for my summer tires. They were at a local used dealer for $100.00 a piece so I made a deal with him and traded my 97 Jeep TJ for wheels, winter tires and cash on top. Good deal for him it took 2 days for him to sell the Jeep. They are stock dodge rims as well but from the sport or some laraime models.
