Hitch height and ball diameter Compact Junior

Hey group! Been away for a while

I'll be picking up my Compact Junior from my friends ranch in March and bringing it to my new home to get ready for the summer. Problem is, my van was stolen and I needed to get a new vehicle.

Would someone be kind enough to give me the trailer height and ball diameter for the Compact Junior so I can get a replacement before I head down there.

Much appreciated as always.

Kevin

Ball size 2"

The ball size on my '72' Compact is 2".
I will need to measure the height of my ball later today.
It is my understanding from posts on this sire that there were 2 factory ball heights. The higher one is raised right after it come out from under the shell.

Mine is a straight frame, not raised at all.

I think all Compact Jr and IIs originally had straight frame to hitch angles. Some, like my former Jr, may have been altered to get the hitch up higher. I think the previous owner wanted to make the frame stronger and also altered the tongue in that process.

Mine is a straight frame 72' with a 2" ball and rises 15" from the ground.

Thanks, Chaz! Gives me a good idea to determine the rise I need!
Much appreciated.

Yo. I you ever want to connect and knock boots about these little rigs lets get together. I could use some advice too as I go about restoring mine.
