Fitted the hitch last Sunday.....
I was hoping this would not take more than a couple of hours but......

First thing I noticed when I positioned the hitch by hand, it was resting on the exhaust pipe. To avoid this, I had to move it half an inch toward the rear of the car which required to cut in the bumper the indentation shown on the attached pictures.
But then, I realized that the L-shape bracket were off! Too large to fit into the frame rail. I had to grind some metal to make it fit. And of course, the half inch move meant that the holes weren't facing the chassis's holes.... !

I've addressed the issue to Curt but they don't seem to care. I don't really want to return anything obviously!... now that all the hard work is done.

Wiring is next... Should be straight forward!
