I was surprised to discover that the
weight of our
Boler is 1450 pounds without 2 kayaks the luggage and food aboard. I started to look at all the stuff in the trailer and saw that this made sense. My initial reason for the weigh in was my offer to loan the
Boler to my son in law and daughter for a weekend. They have a Jeep Liberty, I looked it up and it is rated for 5000 pounds towing capacity. (you can do it but NOT me)
I attached the information to this note for your view and comment.

After looking at the numbers I found myself saying how do I get the right side and left side balanced
I changed things around to get the posted weights as I was 150 lbs heavy on the driver's side. I moved weight forward as well. (about 15 pounds total change front to back)
I am re-thinking trailer
brakes when I replace the
axle. My reason is food, luggage 2 kayaks and other junk will get the all up weight to an easy 1800 pounds.
It is easy to add pounds without thinking about it! I told my kids "that trailer might be 1150 to 1200 pounds total!". Now I have to tell them what it really weights!
