Times ten on keeping your proven-performance rig...
As for the miles:

I've towed over 40,000 miles with my '97 Kia Sportage and the total miles are now approaching 180,000....it's still going strong without any problems. No plans to replace 'til it shivers apart like The Wonderful One-Hoss Shay

Better the devil you know!

Thanks for the link, it was delightful!

""""" A Mechanical Perspective"""""

I've turned wrenches for work and for play,
From when I was young 'til this very day.
I pushed and I tugged and practiced my art,
But everything eventually falls apart!

To some this is sad and leaves them dismayed,
To me it just meant that I would get paid.
And so goes the point of my little thesis,
It's a good thing to some that stuff falls to pieces!

As time fades paint and wrinkles grace faces,
Things are soon gone with barest of traces.
Old stuff and Grampas move out of the way,
The new and the young must have their day!

It may seem to some a bit unfair,
That all things succumb to wear and to tear.
But a promise was said and the sacrifice paid,
from He who was Maker to him who was made!

Floyd

Love it! I'm sending that to my hubby...

I think I told you a long time ago, Floyd, but I'll say it again: You're a for-sure poet, you "dancing outside the trailer" son-of-a-gun, you!

Resale on the Element

Is very HIGH, but I would never trade it for a Soul, never.
That Honda has a long way to go before it's finished. I love those things.
Pull the Element up along side that Soul and take a good look. You have so much room in them, they run great, their resale is great, the interior is so simple to clean, etc.
Just my 2 cents.
