The Curtis Publishing company in Sharon Hill, PA used electric trucks when I was a kid. They had a load capacity of 10 tons! Speed when hauling was only 6 MPH though.

Here's an electrically driven truck...
Claims 40mph... well below the safe tire speed for a Scamp13 and almost large enough to make the TV safety margin.

Depends on what you mean by "pure." All electrically-driven vehicles get their electricity from a generator somewhere powered by some other energy source. This one just happens to carry its own generating station.
