Mercedes G63 AMG 66

For those unsure if your current tow vehicle will get you there (and have a little cash lying around): G63 AMG 66

"Mercedes plans to build about 20 to 30 of these behemoths starting in October for a price just below the $457,000"

I'll take two, one in blue and one in black, please

We like it so we're now looking for money under all the cushions, couches, etc and as soon as we come up with enough we're going 4 it.

Okay Jim, okay... so, how 'bout do you think a WDH would be needed for a 13' trailer or if trailer brakes should be installed

All that money..
No winch, tiny bed, small cab and a gas engine.

An m35a2 would be a much better deal for an off road 6x6.

Um,,,,, that's beyond anything that I'd ever want to have. Is there a real use for it

And besides, I could get a brand new FG Camper, a tow vehicle, and a small vacation home for that price. no contest at all

There's a real use for the 6x6 configuration of the Gelandenwagen; it is used by the Australian army, to carry and tow grater loads than the 4x4. This mega-engined civilian version is just a wildly excessive expression of wealth... although at less than half a million dollars it isn't even close to the top end of that game.

For those interested in 6x6 light trucks, try web searches for "6x6 pickup" and "6x6 Land Rover" - there have been lots, although more often custom conversions of questionable design than tidy production pieces.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Notice the Tandem wheels in the back. Does it remind you of a Mercedes of yonder years 30s-40s.

Food for thought ...
That extra axle is going to cost you more on road tolls.

Wow this would be the perfect TUG for my Boler. But if I only had some spare cash laying around.
