Old Gal? the trailer if the profile is correct is less than 10 years old. Thats a baby! LOL

Looking at the photos though the angle of arm/spindle does seem a bit odd but wondering if it has to do with how the trailer has been jacked up? Does not seem to be jacked up on the trailers main beam but by the arm/spindle? ... which may account for the way it looks??? not sure .....

Not sure of the difference, but I have the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 and am very satisfied with its performance and adjustability. Pulling a 16' Scamp with a Nissan Frontier...
