New tug..

I think I am ready to buy a new tow vehicle as my Rav4 V6 is getting pretty long in the tooth so I have been looking at a 4 cylinder Jeep with the 2.4 L engine.. I tow only about 10 % of the time and am towing a Compact Jr with about 1300 pounds on it.
Do any of you have any experience with towing with a jeep with the 2.4 L? If so can you give me an idea of the weight of your rigs and about what your MPG has been towing.. Thanks..

I towed a scamp and a perris pacer
Both were 13 ft models using a jeep 6 cyl with manual transmission and i can tell you while they towed fine i always felt and wished i had trailer brakes
The short wheel base and overall jeep weight made it an uncomfortable tow pkg at least for me ( just my 2 cents worth)

It would be helpful if people would post the model of the Jeep.
