Thanks again! I really just want to have a sort of once over to make sure all is okay. Wheel bearings? Brakes? Anode need replacing? Etc.

Thanks again to everyone who posted! Our TV is now "hooked up" with appropriate wiring and a P3 brake controller. Our mechanic was great and had it done in no time. We took the set up out last weekend - minor problems with the weight distribution bars - the paperwork says to have 6 links between the connection point and the base, but that is too loose so I'll check to see if the 6 links can include the one used to link the bar and the hitch. And I need to fine tune the brake controller, but otherwise, we're set!! Thanks again!

Yes, much fun planned! A night locally at the end of this month, a weekend in June, 2 weeks in July (including the Brandon Beach gathering), Thanksgiving at El Capitan State Beach, and who knows what during my winter break - I can't wait! I hope to meet you along the way!

We'll keep our eyes peeled for a Toyota Tundra with a 17' Casita and a First Class FGRV Group-Designed Tug-to-Trailer Hookup System!

I'm kind of surprised to hear you're using a weight distribution hitch for your Tundra. My truck barely drops an inch when hooked up to the trailer, and the rear end is still higher than the front. You can try hooking up the trailer without it, if your truck is level or higher in the back, you likely don't need weight distribution and can keep things simpler.

The Casita came with a wdh so I hooked it up. I'll check on the level of the Tundra - I had just assumed that having a wdh was better than not. thanks!
