The
brakes on my '76
Trillium are shot and I need new ones. I am planning on installing them myself, but I have a lot to learn first. I've read as many posts as I can on this, but I still have a few questions.
Based on what I have read, I am assuming the
brakes I have are 7" (please correct me if I am wrong). The 7"
brakes seem to be harder to find, and often more expensive. Is it possible to use 10" brakes instead? Is there anything I would have to do differently?
Is the brand of trailer brake that I buy important? Does it have to match the
axle?
Where would be good places to shop for trailer brakes when shopping from Canada?
