Here's a interesting article titled "Understanding Ball Mount Angle" and how it stabilizes your TV and trailer. very interesting read.
Hitch Hints: Understanding Ball Mount Angle (44.2)

Should be required reading especially for the "WDH non believers".

I find that the sway bar makes my truck and trailer feel more secure like one unit. When a truck blows by you instead of the trailer swaying and then the truck being blown sideways, it feels like a gradual push on both. A much easier driving experience. As far as the trailer level is concerned the important thing is to keep the tongue lower then the rear. Don't sweat the small stuff (or the 3/8" of an inch)! Hahaha

Hi Joe and Bill,

Joe, thanks for the article!

Bill, just finished our first trip out of town towing the Casita with the Borrego using the WDH and sway bar that came with the Casita when we bought it in November. We traveled 235 miles one way from south central KY to Townsend, TN. The tow experience was smooth and non-eventful!!!

Thanks,

Dean

Glad it went well for you Dean. I'd bet a few bucks you have a list of some changes or mods to do after this trip .
