Scamp 13 axle type

I have a customer that bought a lift kit from us for his scamp 13.
He assumed he had a Dexter #9 axle - but on attempting to fit the kit it is apparent he doesnt. One clue is that the centre distance between the horizontal bolts is 9" (a Dexter #9 or #10 use 8" spacing) Another clue is that his axle uses 5/8" bolts. Dexter #9 use 1/2" bolts. Anybody know what axle he has? - the trailer is about 2 years old and has brakes.
He is trying to contact Scamp but I thought I would try here.
Thanks,
Jim

Have him call Scamp to verify. Could be a "Lippert" axle. They've changed from Dexter on some trailers. On the larger trailers they use to use Alko but they were bought by Dexter...so the story goes. My guess is that it could be a Lippert at this point.

Turns out is is a lippert 2200#. It seems they use whatever is available on the build day. If we can just get some tech drawings we should be able to make a lift for it.

Thanks,

Jim
