I will have to take a picture of the additional cross member I added as it was not complete in the first picture.

Ray are you doing the work your self? I worked on mine little by little but if I were to guess I would say I have at least 60 hours in the suspension (I am kind of slow and it seams like I can never find the tools I need).

Similar Scamp mods underway

Gene,
I am just starting on the axle.
The way things worked out I left the hardest for last.
I am a design engineer and do my work with SolidWorks 3D CAD.
I was planning on a prefab sub-frame add on welded up of 2" X 3" steel tube to my design. Then weld this to the existing frame and bolt on the Timbren spindles. Your experience with your install is invaluable to me; you know what works!
It is amazing to me that on both sides of this country we both undertake a similar project and come to the same conclusions. I am very grateful to make your acquaintance. This forum is wonderful!
The images you just posted of your trailer behind your truck are great.
All of your hard work paid off; good for you!
