The NeverEnding Thread...
As a GROUP, I propose that pick-up trucks (especially Toyota p/u's of the late 80's & 90's), are simpler, a lot easier & cheaper to work on, and somewhat more reliable than passenger cars and mini vans of the same vintage.....

Personally, I like the cars and trucks of the 1950s-1960s, talk about easy to work on... pre-computers!

I think once they stuck on PCV valves, it was all over.

OK. I guess I'll just put in my $.02 in, I have gone in a totally different direction. All hand built by me during the last few years.

Lookin' good! Since it's chopped, I'm going to assume you already have the windshield.

Nice thing about this model is that it one of the last versions with a flat glass windshield. It also has an extended cab, shortened bed reversed doors, and a 440ci engine, among other things.

I'm not too worried about the go. If I hadn't built it with disk breaks all around I would worry about the whoa a little.

Yes, it sure is. It's a 1949. I've modified almost everything. I spent most of today fitting the hood.

I've never understood how anyone could bake a stude in a studebaker. Wha's a stude anyway?

I'm not sure either. Maybe you needed to be stewed to own one (in some peoples opinion, not mine).
