Congratulations on your decision. I use an 8’ bed to be able to haul my cruiser style motorcycle..... I have no idea what you will be able to haul in your 6 inch bed.

Hi: macro95... Conga rats on your choice of tug!!! Contrary to some on the forums, our "Work horse" has served us well for almost 100,000 miles and is still as tight as new. With the long wheel base the turning radius takes some getting used to, but once mastered... no problem!!!
Built in Canton Miss. you could almost say it's locally produced too.

I tow a 17’ boler (2300 pounds) with my Ford Ranger 4x4. It tows great. I have helper springs on the back of the ranger and a sway controller (no equalizer)

I know you are looking at a smaller truck, due to price concerns. We bought a Ford F-150 two years ago, a 2009 model from Hertz. It was a former rental and had just over 20000 miles on it
Our out the door price was just under 20,000. It has proven to be a reliable truck and all we had to do was get the brake controller as it already had a tow package.
Just something to think about...this truck, an extra cab is nice! Good upholstery, and you can’t beat the tow button that makes towing in the mountains a snap! It sure beat having the sticker shock of a new one.
