Trailer King Tires

I currently have 14" tires on my egg and want to upgrade to 15" 225/75R15.
I did that on my earlier Casita with Carlisle Radial Trails with very satisfactory results.
Looking on Amazon I see that the Radial Trails have pretty mixed reviews, while Trailer Kings have seriously better reviews and far more of them; nothing below a 4.
Not only that but they are significantly less expensive.
Yet in all the tire discussions on the forum, I don't recall anyone mentioning them.
So I'm asking if anyone has experience with Trailer Kings.

I follow this forum closely and have read a lot of the comments on Maxxis, Marathons, bias plies, truck tires, etc.
I'm really only asking about the Trailer Kings.

Thanks for any direct comments.

Walt

We use ST (special trailer) c rated, radial tires on our trailer they work great and yes they cost less but more important they are made for trailers and the suspension trailers have.

Not sure I trust on-line reviews in general. More to the point here, could you tell from the reviews what the application was? My utility trailer came with OE Trailer Kings, and they have done fine in light duty, low speed, local hauling for ten years (okay… I know… they are past their expiration date…). Pulling a travel trailer is far more demanding and the consequences of failure much greater, so I'd hesitate to put them on even my 13' Scamp without a significant track record in RV service.

Like Floyd, I've had good luck with the Carlisle Radial Trails. I notice the 175/80R13 tires I bought from Amazon for $77 in Feb. 2014 are now $64. Got to wonder. Perhaps now is a good time of the year to buy trailer tires?

As far as Amazon reviews, I've found on more than one occasion what appears to be sellers enlisting the "masses" to write bogus positive reviews. Caveat emptor. Raz
