Can I run 14inch rims and tires in my 77 trillium 4500? I tried the search and I believe I can.Just looking for input. Are there any drawbacks? Thanks

Yes and no. I run 14" wheels on my 78 4500 but I replaced my axel and added an additional 1.5" of lift in the process. If your 4500 is running on it's original axel; it needs replaced. If you're replacing you're axel you may as well spring for brakes, 14" wheels, added lift to match your tug.

I have three Trilliums, one 1300, and two 4500's that are running 14" rims. It may be problematic with a worn out axle, but I have not had any problems.
