Wiring for Bigfoot

What wiring is needed for a 2007 Bigfoot travel trailer? 7 pin, round??? Thanks

Assuming, I think safely, that the operators of BigfootRV in that era were reasonably competent, their trailers would have a 7-pin "RV style" connection. Not the connector with 7 round pins used by commercial trucks, but the one with 6 flat blades surrounding one round pin... both styles have a round body.

Examples:
end on trailer cable
socket on tow vehicle

This is the only common connector intended for use with electric brakes and a battery charging circuit.

Generally the adapters are are to go from a 7 pin on the tow vehicle to a flat 4 on the trailer so one can pull a small utility trailer with a 7 pin equipped tow vehicle.

The 7 pin connector on the tow vehicle will need additional wires for the brakes and tow charge line, so you may as well tap into the flat four harness.
