NOPE! We have Olivers, Scamps, Casitas, and even have had a Unik before. This is a great facility, the weather should be nice, and you'll get tons of great mod ideas from everyone. April, if you can make it, come on over!

one more question... how late can we register, spring is a busy time for the Taiko drummers, and we can not make a commitment for that weekend, until closer to the end of March to be sure a gig does not get booked the same weekend. I would hate to register early, and not be able to make it out. When is the cut off?

April,
It doesn't cost anything to register at this time. It gives Brad and Bev information for planning the event. There will be a $15 fee due sometime before the event and you pay the RV park when you arrive. You should try to come to it, even if it's last minute.

This will be our 5th year at Bluebonnet with our Compact Jr. There are always many Scamps, some Olivers, and a few orphans like Unik, Love Bug, Bigfoot, U Haul, Amerigo, etc. among the 140 trailers. As Brian said, go ahead and sign up. If you don't, there are always cancellations. So if you need to come at the last minute there will be room. It's great fun.

I went ahead and registered... we are very excited to join in an egg gathering, so close to home is a bonus! I hope we don't get double booked that weekend.

April, will be great to see you! We have an 85 Scamp 13 so you won't feel lonesome!
We usually get a fair number 5-9 Scamps with this rally as is so much fun! Bring the poochie(s) or kitties! We have an old blind boston so Rocky will be there.
I am out of work and looking and am hoping any new job will be ok with me taking off a few days. I'm crossing fingers.
Think we are registered, but will check with the hubster tonite!
Welcome!

<div align="center">Bluebonnet Casita Rally

Skyline Ranch Rv Park

Bandera, TX

2009 AGENDA
</div>

Wednesday: April 22, 2009

1:00 – 3:00 Registration:
3:00 – 3:45 Meet & Greet & Announcements: Meeting Room
5:00 11th St Cowboy Bar - Bandera, TX
Bring your own steak & table service to the restaurant and cook it yourself outside on a big grill. The restaurant provides the sides for $4 per person, and live music at no charge. The music begins at 6 pm with a local version of American Idol which is very popular according to James McGroarty, owner of the 11th Street Cowboy Bar. The regular band will start at 7 pm. The $4.00 charge will provide you with a salad, potatoes, bread, and everything you’ll need to prepare your steak, including seasonings. I suggest you bring an extra plate for your steak along with your utensils. Carrying a couple of hot steaks on a floppy paper plate can be precarious. Bring your dancing shoes if you care to do a two step!

Thursday: April 23, 2009

7:30 Coffee Pot & Sweet Rolls: Meeting Room - Tom and Martha Jo Trostel
Bring your coffee mug.

7:30 Ziploc omelets: Meet Room - Vicki Lee

Crack 2 eggs (large or extra large) into the bag. Place ingredients for your omelet in the bag with the 2 eggs. Other optional items you can choose for your omelet ingredients are: cooked bacon, ham, and/or sausage, assorted cheeses, sliced onion, green or red peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms, olives, tomato, salsa, almonds, etc.

Please bring your table service and the ingredients you prefer in your Ziploc omelet bag to the meeting room for cooking. We will have marks-a-lot pens available to write your name on your bag

Copies of the recipe and cooking instructions for Ziploc omelets will be provided at the demonstration.

8:30-10:00 Braided T-Shirt Class: Meeting Room - Pat Harko
Tired of getting a really neat T-shirt on your travels but it had those big, floppy sleeves? Here's a neat and cost-free way to solve that problem. Plus you'll end up with a softer more feminine look. It just takes some time and the following supplies: A new unwashed light color T-Shirt. Good sewing/fabric scissors, pen, straight pin, needle and thread to match the shirt. Limited to15. If there is more interest, contact volunteers and another session may be scheduled.

10:00-11:30 Discussion group lead by Dave and Ruth Meilstrup “Dry Camping in Style”
Dave and Ruth will lead a discussion group about dry camping in your Casita. This isn’t a “seminar” but an
exchange of ideas for those who frequently dry camp and for those who are interested. The Melstrups have made
their way to Alaska several times and dry camped 80% of the time.

11:45 Lunch: Meeting Room will be available if you wish to bring your own plated lunch/sandwich, table service, and drink.

Bring anything you want to sell or give away. Need not only be RV items.

1:45-4:00 Session: Gray Water Drainage. Meeting Room - Larry Gamble
Larry will present two modifications to the Casita sewer system that may make your life less complicated.

The first is the replacement of the “P” trap with a Hepvo valve which means no more climbing out of the shower in your birthday suit to open the shower valve. The other is a modification that allows your gray water tank to utilize it’s full capacity and allows it to drain much faster than the stock configuration. These two modifications have been published, but there are new developments that make them easier for the owner to do himself (or herself).

Larry will be doing both modifications during the week for some if us who are all thumbs, if you’d like to observe
check with Larry at the rally. He may be doing some work before the rally begins if you get there early.
