Hi: All... Well Bolerama... 2009 "Cosy Camping" has just wound up!!! A record 136 I think, fiberglass trailers enjoyed the mixed bag of weather. No spirits were dampened as Fred said " This is not a wedding" ... "We're campers"!!!
Even the B52 sized "Skeeters" weren't a deterrent although the camp fire fri. night was smaller. Skuze me while I scratch!!!
The pot luck sat. night was awsome, and the only thing that left empty were the POTS!!!

That was 136 or so REGISTERED trailers there Alf. As for the fire, the park put pits into the other fields so there was more than one fire going, a little more intimate. You could feel the heat and see the faces on the other side of the fire.

I sort of felt sorry for the young couple that just picked up their U-haul this week. They came to bolerama on Saturday for their first meet and first night of camping. With Saturday being show and tell day, the poor couple had a line up about 20 waiting to tour their trailer from when they first opened the door, till pretty near midnight. The U-haul being as rare up here as your Escape 5.0 was in its first visit. But you knew what you were getting into. Sure hope we didn't scare them off as they seemed like a nice couple.

Another fine event put together by Fred and Donna. I've got a feeling that we'll see some new faces here on FGRV because of the meet. There were some from here that I never got a chance to meet.

Thank you for the kind words Roy!
Actually, we were just coming on to comment about what a well organised and enjoyable event it was. It was a little overwhelming but I can't imagine a better way to make us feel like we made a great purchase. We will definitely be there next year.
We had a really great time meeting everybody.
The one thing we missed in all the excitement was taking a picture of our U-Haul at the meet. If anyone has any we would really appreciate a copy.
And for all the gentlemen with the specific questions, we'll have the answers for next year.

Bridget and Gord (hoping to be able to get out of our trailer in 2010)

Hello everyone, Marje and I made it home in good time and very tired. My jaw hurts from all the conversation . Cozy Camping, Bolerama 2009 was another well organized, friendly ,and very successful clan gathering of trailers [fiberglass] of all shapes and sizes. Thanks again to Fred and Donna for all their effort and creativity. Marje and I noticed many new faces and made many new friends. We also noticed more young couples, boding well for the future. Looking forward to the big festivities next year!

Well I guess I will have to return next year. I came to film the event but the Airlines lost my luggage so I didn't arrive until Saturday morning, still without my luggage. Thanks to everyone. Here is a link just in case you didn't know who I am.

Hi All.........2009 Cozy Camping was my first Bolerama. Had a wonderful time! Amazed by the friendliness of everyone. I felt right at home, (although I did wish I'd bathed the Shunpiker bf Open House) Oh well, I'll know for next year.
Fred and Donna did a spectacular job and their efforts were much appreciated. And thanks too, to everyone else involved in organizing and assisting in the event.
See you all next year.............................

Hi: All... The good news is Christmas Time Is Near The sad news is that Fred and Donna want to concentrate their efforts for 2010 on the Rally to Earlton Ontario. Therefore there will be no gathering at Emily Prov. Pk. in July 2010. This news Fred posted on Bolerama Forum.
