Important notice for Canadians going south as of June 01, 2009

June 01, 2009, the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative will begin requiring U.S. and Canadian land and sea travelers to present a passport or other documents denoting "identity and citizenship when entering the United States"

Start spreading the news...

It looks like Tacoma Power has opened the new section of the camp ground and are taking reservations. I don't know how close these sites are to our main circle, but if you know of others wanting to join our bash here is a link to see what is available. Remember to change the arrival date, nights and equipment type to get the latest update.

Hi Gang:

Is anyone interested in camping just Saturday night? Karen Langlois and I have reservations for sites #26 & #27 for Thursday, June 4 (my birthday) through Sunday am. However, a friend is throwing me a Birthday Picnic back home on Saturday; so both of us are leaving the meet Saturday morning.

I'd be glad to give away my Saturday site free if I can't get a refund; don't know about Karen's (whether you'd have to pay her or not), but her number is 360-701-5048 (afternoons and early & late evenings). Karen has site 26 and I have site 27. My number is 253-312-3372.

It may be that we'll actually come in on Wednesday night to "make up" for the lost day. Anyone else going to be there Wednesday or daytime Thursday?

Hi Cory,
We've not met but we're going to. We're leaving Canada Wednesday afternoon and will likely boondock at a casino or or something en route. That should put us in there early Thursday.
cheers
Ian

Peter,
Thanks so much for the table and the kitchen wrought iron supports you gave me in Waterloo for my friend Don, with Isaac's beauty BLUE Scamp...complete with sagging ceiling. I will ask Don if it had a sink & faucet or upper cabinets. As I told you, if he doesn't have it, he'd be so APPRECIATIVE, since finances are limited, especially now in this economy! I'm trying to get him to take it to DMV (I'll have to tow it for him) and get it titled...it didn't seem to have a VIN or previous title....
See you in just over a week. We're going to have a garage sale...un-trailer related stuff will be there, too!
Barbara

* Sink: 13"x16" single-bowl
* Upper Cabinets: 36" Right and left side upper cabinets (fit ceiling curves for Scamp)
* Kitchen faucet with hot & cold taps.
* 24"x30" MDF table top (single-leg table fits "U" shaped dinette conversion)

This address should get you pretty close to the park entrance.

103 Taionapam Dr. Morton, WA

From the intersection of Hwy 7 and US Hwy 12 in Morton head east on Hwy 12 for 5.3 miles
Turn right (south) onto Kosmos Rd. for 0.2 miles
Turn Left onto Champion Haul Rd for approximately 3.9 miles. The campground should be on your right.

OK, to summarize the fun packed activities, here is what I culled from the various posts:

Saturday night potluck dinner

Garage sale/swap meet

Kite flying

Geocaching

Book exchange

and lastly, but most importantly, a Friday night exchange of the nectar of the gods (aka Beer!)

Was anything missed or needs to be added?

I guess there's always the "Great Trailer Modification Tour". Gotta wander around and see what everybody else has done to their rigs.
