Beer exchange? Please elaborate for us first timers.

Do hearing words such as Sweaty Betty, Flat Tire, Oatmeal Stout and such start your taste buds to salivate? Then this workshop is for you!

We're going to do a beer exchange. The rules are simple. Bring a six pack of craft beer, either cans or bottles. The idea is to introduce yourself to someone and use that as an excuse to trade one can or bottle for a different brand. At the end of the exchange you should have six different brands than the one you brought.

Join in the fun, bring a beer brewed in your city/state...it's a good time to show off what the microbrewers are doing in your area.

BTW: Michelob is NOT a craft beer.

This exchange will be on Friday night, 7pm sharp.... I just haven't decided where yet... stay tuned for that info.

[b]This is being billed as an Opener Event

I call FOUL Donna!!!
Most all 'our' micro-brews have a very short life and I don't know that they'd even travel well.... BUT, I was thinkin of bringing some local (B.C.) brews. Do I still qualify??

Of course BC brew qualifies. I just didn't want someone to bring some Miller Lite and think it was a craft beer

Frederick, Frederick, an opener event ... is a "beginning." But I used it as a play on words to mean... go ahead and open and enjoy!

Doug, surely that stuff can only come from one of three places:
1. Newfoundland
2. The Ozarks
3. Out of a recycled radiator in a country where alcohol is forbidden!

Roger C H,

Welcome to the 2nd Annual WA State get together at Taidnapum Park.

I checked the Parks reservation website, and in response to your question;
Site #46 and Site #49 are the only two left in the general area of this event.
Site #43
has been taken, but not by one of our group members (as of 6:40am today anyway).

There are a few sites in this loop which have been booked by non-fiberglass RV folks, (non participants). It is an open park, and we don't have the exclusive use of this loop, we all just booked early enough to be together in the same loop. It's all first come-first served, so if you have any friends who are considering participating, I would tell them to book one of these last two sites before they're gone.

Greg

So far, we have 32 sites reserved for the 2nd Annual. Pretty good showing since we only had a dozen at the first get- together. Only two sites left still in the "loop", as of about 7:40am PST.
They are still Sites 46 and 49.

Two sites left means that those who are thinking about it need to sign up before more that aren't with our group grab the last spots. This is going to be a great campout.

OK crampers, through winter I don't check this site very ofter, but it looks like YOU've been getting yourselves into plenty of trouble. Wait till June! Woo wee...

Cheers all, and Happy Valentines Day to all you LOVERS!

Checked the site for reservations and it says that site 49 is still available for Thursday through Saturday. Hope a fiberglass trailer grabs it.

Brandi,
I'm not sure what happened when your friend checked the Taidnapum reservation site, but I checked it again this morning, plugged in our trip dates (June 4-8), and they still show Site 46 and Site 49 as "available". Perhaps she may have erred in her search? I don't know what she found, but there should still be two sites left as of 6:50am today.

When checking the site it asks what size of RV you have and if you check tents, it will give you no sites. These are only for RVs and will say nothing is available. When you get to the reservation site, it says, no tents are allowed in any sites so maybe Brandi's friend checked the wrong box.
