Thanks for the update Jayson. I was out there a few weeks ago and parts were soggy. Was wondering how it was drying up since we had some real dry weather lately. Shirley and I will be there on Wednesday morning.

Coming from Calgary and I cannot leave until mid-morning/noon on Wednesday (have meetings ) so the plan is to take 2 days to travel the 1400+km. Want to make it to at lease Moose Jaw the first day, although my target is to make Elkhorn Manitoba. Arriving St Malo Thursday morning.

Don't know if there is a campground in Elkhorn at least we did not see one on the way back from Macklin. We stopped in the next town called Virden and found a nice little campground there just follow the signs posted on the highway #1 it is just in the south part of town not too far for the #1.

There will be some interesting news stories about the rally coming out in the next few days. Keep looking in the Winnipeg Sun and listening to CBC Radio. Also on Saturday there will be a crew out filming parts of the rally for a TV news story!
