Thanks especially to the Parrs, Hartmans, Luc Riezebos for all their help in keeping the wheels on during the
rally. We extend our appreciation to the Laneys for their sharing their site with anyone who came along as well as the morning coffee and evening popcorn. Our usual very entertaining group of musicians must be recognized and a nod to Floyd Clark who generously shares his time and knowledge with those in need or distress. Kathy Dalby put in hours on the google site, which was a great asset.
We think the final egg count was 57 with about 120 attendees, after a while the event takes on a life of its own, as Dave Parr would say. There where at least 9 off site visitors with an interest in FG and several campers from other loops who came to the open house Saturday.
We trust everyone got home safely. We tried to have a fire Sunday night with Imo, Caroline, and Jerry but were rained out. Left to a warmer (finally) Monday morning, and got back to Mount Horeb about 4:15. Terrific pictures that capture the rally by BillE
Almost the best part was connecting faces with names we've seen for the last year and having so many first time folks and new-to-us people.
To wrap up the campground owners said that we were the "best group they've every had... by far"
