2014, Nov. 10-14: The First Fall Washington Area Gathering

You know that this will be basically an inside gathering, in the clubhouse.

Okay. We just made reservations at Elma RV Park!

Elma RV Park

Call and identify yourself as being with the WAGs.

Dates: Arriving on November 10, departing Nov 14.

They have a nice clubhouse so weather shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry it is so late in the year, but between birthdays and bad backs...

Roger

People - - - - - - - Dates - Site - Rig

I typically go to Elma (Grays County Harbor Fairgrounds!) the last weekend in August... for the Unfinished Nationals! A HUGE hot rod show... and we dry camp in the FIELD.

Gotta check this out, THANKS Roger!

I'm probably going to pass on this one- I stored a bunch of my camping stuff after the Fall NOG in preparation for moving. Next time, I hope!

Wink Eggs aren't tents

Come on folks. Where is all that enthusiasm? You haven't gotten all the benefits from your egg until you camp in marginal weather! Nothing as cozy as snuggling down in an egg with stormy weather outside. Besides, this is Washington. If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes.

The worst storm we experienced was in Midway, B.C. in August! The rain sounded like gravel hitting the side of Homelet.

I'd be tempted but already stored stuff in prep for my upcoming move (hopefully at the end of November if my building permit comes through) and really have too much to do. Get me in the spring when I'm camping out in Mom's basement and eager to get out!

So sorry to miss it. We just got home a couple of days ago from our first voyage and I "had" to get back to work. I hope to remedy that within the next couple of years, though!c

Sorry Roger can't make it during the week. I work for Meals on Wheels mornings during the week.

Smile You missed a good outing.

We are having a good time. Sunny weather if somewhat cold. We are leaving Thursday because another group wanted an early start.

One person showed up besides us, John who lives not far away.

We will schedule earlier next year.
