Cancel on NOG

I have to cancel on this get-together! After 6 months of unemployment I start a new job next week, plus need to schedule a trip to Missouri to visit a sister that is doing poorly. I've got A-52 booked. Is there any way to coordinate my cancellation so someone can pick up that site? Really hope I can make the Maryhill rally next May. I have a site on that one also.

Ahhh bummer for us Connie. But good for you because you've got a job. If someone responds to you, I can help you coordinate the transfer.

catch you at a different rally!

Hi Donna & Molded Towables friends,
Simon & I have made an, ahem, small change to our Silverfalls reservation plans:

We will NOT be in a cabin at the end of the loop.
Rather we are taking Tucker's spot, #41.
And, er, we shall not be in a fiberglass rig.
We plan to be in THE BEAST...
A vintage AIRSTREAM motorhome.

I'm told that we have obtained a variance.
Hope we are not tarred & feathered,
or made to walk around with our heads hanging low
wearing a SCARLET LETTER A on our NAMETAGS!

See ya soon!

one more week from today and we'll be heading into camp
The 10 day forecast for the area looks like a perfect PNW October week in the low 70's and partly cloudy skies. I'm liking that!

Hi there, we've never been to a rally before but would love to join in this one. We're just passing through Oregon. Looks like all the sites are taken though. If anyone needs to cancel we could take their spot.
Thanks.

Silver Falls Event 2014

I am a egg trailer camping want-to-be, would this be a good event for a day-trip? I would like to learn more about a egg type trailers "before" we make the investment. We tent camped for many years and have a toy-hauler tent trailer now. The egg trailers look like a lot of fun in an EZ to tow package. I would like the chance to see what others are doing with their trailers. I want to learn more about the different styles/sizes of egg type trailers. I am open to future events in the PNW area. After reading about this event I was hoping for the above mentioned, I/we do not want to intrude if this event is a privet event/group camp out. Thanks!

Yes, this is a great opportunity to view fiberglass trailers. Feel free to come by, stay for the day, or the weekend. All are friendly folks who will let you look in their trailers and talk with you about fiberglass!

Bummer! Sharen and Simon... I wanted to see your new rig and now there's no book exchange either

See Kim, a site just opened up if you're interested in joining us for several nights. Contact Sharen directly.

If you don't care to camp, you're more than welcome for the day...

Arghhhhh!!!
Off again, on again, Finnegan!!!

I know I'm sounding terribly wobbly, but for the first time in our 7 or so fun-filled and successful "NOG-ing years" we seem to have hit a rough patch. Some of it has to do with the rig, and some of it is other thit. We've decided to let go of the other thit and concentrate on the rig.

Thank you Donna for the use of that utterly descriptive word. THIT THIT THIT!!!

So we'll KEEP the reservation for site 41, and we shall try our best to make it work, with the Airstream, aka THE BEAST.

So fingers crossed, we'll be there Thursday.

Sharen & Simon

Site B-29

Donna,
This was my site, and when I found out we wouldn't be able to make it, I sold it.
The new OWNERS of B-29 are Chris & Maureen and their BigFoot!
Since I added their name to my site, the site was NEVER CANCELLED by me. There must be some explanation to this puzzle. Have fun you all! I'm taking Stephen to a pre-Birthday concert on the 10th and to another Birthday concert on the 18th. Lucky guy! If only we could've fit these in with camping. Oh WELL, there's always next year.

Barb, to give your site to C&M you need to call ReserveAmerica and ADD them to your site. They then send you the money for your reservation (and they use your reservation number when checking in). It's really very easy, but no one should just cancel and expect someone else to pick it up... unless it's at last minute.
